ViaFerrata
The Junior
The ferrata begins with a ten meters rock, continuing with a crossing on the left. After a
while, you will find a 3 m. board (footbridge). Be careful when raining...
Thus, you will have made the first part, and you have the choice of
escaping the most difficult part with a loophole.
The Integral
Giddiness, very good physical condition, good technique, and good arms... are the ingredients you must take
with you during this second part.
Cross the footbridge and climb the flagstone of the Lizard 40 m. (see picture)
To the third of the via, you will reach a short passage... but what a
path! You will feel your arms...You will finish the La Traversée du Non
Retour with a very difficult path (unless making a little more than 2m... like your servant. Ha! there is good to be
tall...) with the Passage de l'Ortie. You go up then along the chimney of
the Mysterious Pilier. At the top a beautiful sight on the Chevril lake, la Grande
Motte, le Dôme de la Sache, le Mont Pourri... and far away the Mont Blanc.
